Hardware Project Manager

About the role

As a Hardware Project Manager at Bosch, you will lead hardware development within complex automotive projects, ensuring seamless collaboration across mechanical, software and other engineering domains. You will drive projects from concept through implementation, representing hardware interests in both internal and external discussions.

Key responsibilities

• Represent hardware development in negotiations and meetings.
• Maintain regular communication and alignment with cross‑functional teams such as mechanics and software.
• Lead 8D and problem‑solving teams.
• Define and oversee project timelines, resources, budgets and technical specifications.
• Coordinate, implement and track project changes throughout the development lifecycle.
• Establish, deploy and monitor hardware requirements.
• Prepare risk assessments and mitigation strategies for senior management and customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or a related field.
• Experience in automotive hardware development.
• Strong knowledge of power electronics, circuit design, PCB layout and automotive standards.
• Proven project‑management experience, including timeline, budget and resource coordination.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
