Director, Product Management

About the role

Reporting to the VP of Product for Diligent Market Intelligence, you will own the strategy, roadmap and evolution of Stewardship Intelligence – a core data product that delivers meeting, executive compensation, corporate governance and proxy‑voting intelligence to institutional investors and related professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Define and continuously refine product vision, strategy and prioritisation for the Stewardship Intelligence portfolio.
• Lead, develop and organise the Product Management and Research teams, fostering AI integration, collaboration and a culture of accountability.
• Improve dataset coverage, methodology, quality and timeliness through process redesign, automation and AI‑enabled approaches.
• Partner with Engineering and UX to build and launch high‑quality data‑as‑a‑service experiences.
• Gather deep insights from institutional asset managers, governance professionals and corporate issuers to guide product decisions.
• Work with Commercial, Marketing, Sales and Customer Success to support positioning, launch readiness and ongoing adoption.

Required profile

• Significant experience in Product Management, Research Operations or Data Products, including team leadership and strategy setting.
• Mandatory domain expertise in stewardship, proxy voting, corporate governance, executive compensation or a closely related capital‑markets area.
• Proven track record delivering B2B SaaS or data‑intelligence products from discovery through launch and performance improvement.
• Experience leading large‑scale structured data operations with enterprise‑grade quality standards.
• Strong communication, analytical judgement and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Data‑as‑a‑Service concepts and data‑licensing models.
• Hands‑on experience with large language models (LLMs), machine learning and intelligent automation.
• AI integration, automation and AI‑enabled approaches for regulatory filings and unstructured documents.
• Knowledge of data provenance, research methodology, quality frameworks and governance of externally sourced data.
