eAxle Test Engineer

About the role

Join Bosch's powertrain team in Budapest as an eAxle Test Engineer. You will be responsible for validating electric drive systems and their sub‑components through comprehensive functional, performance, durability and end‑of‑line testing.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and execute functional, performance, durability and EOL tests on eAxle systems and sub‑components.
• Configure and operate powertrain test benches, measurement equipment and data‑acquisition systems.
• Develop and maintain test specifications and procedures based on customer and system requirements.
• Analyze measurement results, identify deviations and support root‑cause investigations.
• Document test outcomes and communicate findings to project stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methods, automation solutions and validation processes.
• Provide validation evidence and technical assessments for product release activities.
• Collaborate with international project teams and cross‑functional experts.

Required profile

• MSc or BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Vehicle Engineering or related field.
• Experience in automotive testing, validation or laboratory engineering.
• Understanding of electric drive systems, electric motors, transmissions and power electronics.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
