Mechanical Project Leader for ADAS and ISS Sensors

About the role
As a Mechanical Project Leader you will drive the development of ADAS and ISS sensor hardware such as cabin sensing radar, automotive radar and multi‑purpose cameras. You will work in an international environment, coordinating cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality mechanical solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate mechanical development activities for ADAS & ISS sensor projects.
- Lead international, interdisciplinary teams covering design, purchasing, production, layout and series preparation.
- Track and control quality, resource, capacity, cost and schedule targets.
- Introduce improvement measures based on customer requirements.
- Document project progress according to quality directives.
- Report project status regularly to internal customers and management.
- Collaborate closely with customers, development teams and plants on technical topics worldwide.
Required profile
- University or college degree in electrical, mechanical or mechatronic engineering, technical management or a comparable field.
- Several years of experience in technical project management.
- Familiarity with a range of technologies such as aluminium, die casting, plastics, sheet metal and PCB.
- Efficient working style, strong coordination abilities and flexibility.
- Confident communication and presentation skills with a focus on target, process and quality.
- Willingness to travel for business needs.
- Precise, systematic and analytical mindset.
- Fluent English.
