About the role
The Quality Coordinator – Supplier will manage and execute quality functions for engineering and technical projects, ensuring product reliability while minimizing costs.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and document all phases of the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process.
- Prepare and submit PPAP documentation in line with AIAG guidelines.
- Develop gauge concepts and procure gauges for specific programs.
- Collaborate with component and tooling/equipment suppliers to improve products and resolve manufacturing issues, including travel to supplier or customer sites.
- Participate in Simultaneous Development Teams (SDTs) and internal audits.
- Train quality and production staff on program‑specific quality requirements.
- Support product introduction through prototype fabrication and delivery phases.
Required profile
- Experience in quality coordination within a manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Ability to work with suppliers and internal teams to drive continuous improvement.
Required skills
- Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
- Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
- Familiarity with AIAG guidelines
- Gauge development and procurement
