About the role
As a Lead HR Specialist in Compensation & Benefits at Bosch in Budapest, you will own compensation programmes across five countries, ensuring they align with Bosch’s reward principles and local regulations. You will act as a trusted advisor to HR and senior management, driving data‑based decisions and preparing the organisation for upcoming EU pay‑transparency requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Take professional ownership of compensation topics across five countries, ensuring alignment with Bosch reward principles and local requirements.
- Coordinate the regional Annual Salary Review (ASR) from strategy creation through implementation and follow‑up.
- Lead activities related to the EU Pay Transparency Directive, supporting readiness for new regulations.
- Conduct systematic job and position evaluations to place roles correctly within grading and compensation structures.
- Perform compensation analyses, benchmarking studies and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Advise HR and management on complex compensation matters and support data‑driven decision‑making.
- Contribute to the design and rollout of new compensation concepts, processes and strategies.
- Identify opportunities for standardisation, optimisation and innovation across compensation processes.
- Represent compensation topics to senior management and guide colleagues within the area of expertise.
Required profile
- University degree in Human Resources, Economics, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Compensation & Benefits or Reward, preferably in a regional role.
- Strong knowledge of salary structures, benchmarking, salary review processes and compensation analytics.
- Excellent analytical abilities and confidence working with complex compensation data.
- Proven ability to independently manage and coordinate complex topics across multiple countries and stakeholders.
- Confident communication and stakeholder‑management skills, including interaction with senior management.
- Proactive, structured and solution‑oriented mindset with a high level of ownership.
