Senior Technical Consultant - Quality Systems

About the role

Veeva Systems is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to help life‑science companies improve their quality and compliance operations using the Veeva Quality suite. You will work with leading pharmaceutical and biotech customers, guiding them through implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Implement new features within the Veeva Quality suite at Life Sciences companies, from large pharma to emerging biotech.
• Guide customers on enhancing quality and compliance culture, risk analysis, quality metrics, continuous improvement, and audit/inspection readiness.
• Design solutions that meet both expressed and anticipated customer needs.
• Act as a liaison between implementation, maintenance teams, customer stakeholders, and Veeva product groups.
• Support post‑implementation adoption of Vault and industry best practices.
• Drive change‑management methodology for customers moving from on‑premise to SaaS.
• Assist with quality processes such as documents, Quality Events, CAPAs, Deviations, Change Control, Audits, and Training.
• Mentor junior consultants and team members.

Required profile

• Significant experience implementing, supporting, or administering core business and IT technology solutions.
• In‑depth knowledge of quality and compliance, quality management systems, document control, and global change management.
• Proven track record leading implementation or maintenance projects as a consultant, business analyst, IT lead, or sponsor.
• Experience leading teams through difficult decisions and negotiating compromises.
• Consulting or customer‑facing experience with strong expectation management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment, translating business requirements into solution designs.
• University degree or equivalent relevant experience.

Required skills

• Knowledge of quality and compliance processes, QMS, document control, and change management.
• Experience with Veeva Vault, EtQ, TrackWise, OpenText, SharePoint, Documentum, FirstDoc/FirstPoint, NextDocs.
• Understanding of software validation processes and requirements.
• Project management experience.
• Execution experience with Agile methodology and/or ACP certification.
• Service delivery management and systems implementation experience.
• Proficiency in additional European language(s) is a plus.
