Accountant – Global Finance Team (Budapest)

About the role

We are expanding our finance function for a fast‑growing SaaS business and need proactive accountants to join our Budapest office. You will work with colleagues in Budapest, Copenhagen, Vienna and Dortmund, supporting multiple entities and helping to build scalable, high‑quality accounting processes across a global, subscription‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day accounting operations, including accounts payable, invoice processing and expense reporting.
• Perform bank, balance‑sheet and intercompany reconciliations.
• Support month‑end close activities and prepare timely monthly and quarterly reporting packages.
• Collaborate with local service providers to ensure statutory filings are completed on schedule.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects, such as NetSuite ERP implementation and integration of newly acquired entities.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, scalability and quality.

Required profile

• Hands‑on accounting experience in a similar role within an international, multi‑entity environment.
• Proactive mindset with a strong drive to improve processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to problem‑solving.
• Ability to work collaboratively across borders and communicate effectively with finance, tax and controlling teams.

Required skills

• Experience with NetSuite ERP or comparable cloud‑based accounting systems.
