Automotive Warranty Assessor & Aftersales Consultant (Relocation to Budapest)

About the role

MSX International supports leading automotive brands worldwide, improving repair performance, customer satisfaction and aftersales operations across more than 80 countries. This role is based in Budapest, Hungary and requires relocation. The Warranty Assessor and Aftersales Process and System Support Consultant assesses warranty claims, supports aftersales processes and provides IT system assistance to authorized service partners, ensuring compliance with warranty standards and a good retailer experience. Duties are shared between warranty assessment, process support and IT system tasks depending on business needs, market priorities and language requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assess warranty claims and pre-authorizations in line with company policies and guidelines.
• Support authorized service partners with warranty, aftersales process and IT system questions.
• Manage and resolve cases efficiently while keeping accurate documentation.
• Communicate with retailers and guide them on processes, policies and system use.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive retailer experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in warranty assessment, aftersales operations, technical support or a similar automotive environment.
• Fluent English; French is preferred, additional languages are an advantage.
• Good understanding of automotive warranty processes, aftersales operations and retailer support.
• Experience with warranty management, case management and/or automotive IT systems.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving, clear communication, organization and teamwork in an international setting.
