AWI (TIG) Manual Arc Welder

About the role

The company is looking for an experienced AWI (TIG) manual arc welder to lead and coordinate the full manufacturing process for welded steel structures. The role ensures that production capacity and workforce are efficiently scheduled to meet delivery deadlines, quality standards and cost targets.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct all manufacturing activities, from planning to execution.
• Allocate production capacity and staff to achieve daily and weekly targets.
• Guarantee plant operation aligns with order deadlines, quality requirements and budget constraints.
• Propose and support improvements in manufacturing technology.
• Collaborate continuously with technical preparation, quality assurance, logistics and HR departments.
• Participate actively in daily production meetings.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of relevant leadership experience in a single‑piece or low‑volume production environment.
• Proven expertise in manufacturing welded steel structures.
• Solid knowledge of the metal industry, welding processes and production technology.
• At least a secondary‑level technical education; a welding technologist qualification or higher technical degree is a plus.
