Business Analyst & Power BI Developer

About the role

Bosch is looking for a Business Analyst & Power BI Developer to turn complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights. You will own the design, development and maintenance of controlling‑related dashboards that support senior management decisions on headcount, cost and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable Power BI dashboards for Controlling, Finance and HR.
• Connect to and transform data from SQL databases, SAP (Fiori/Analysis for Microsoft Excel) and flat files (Excel/CSV).
• Develop and optimise data models in Power BI to ensure performance and a single source of truth.
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries for data extraction and aggregation.
• Collaborate with Controlling, Finance and senior stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Automate data preparation and reporting tasks using Excel macros and Power Query.
• Prepare visualisations and reports for management presentations and ad‑hoc analysis.
• Document data sources, models and reports and promote best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst or similar role with a focus on data visualisation.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to communicate findings clearly.
• Experience working with finance or controlling data is a plus.

Required skills

• Power BI (including DAX, Power Query/M and data modelling).
• SQL for querying large datasets.
• SAP data access (Fiori/Analysis for Microsoft Excel).
• Advanced Excel skills, including macros.
