Client Onboarding Assistant (Hybrid, Budapest)

About the role

Join KPMG Global Services Hungary as a Client Onboarding Assistant, supporting the onboarding of multinational clients and handling VAT registration and legal processes. You will work in a multicultural team, interacting with colleagues and clients across more than 40 countries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage legal registration and takeover processes during client onboarding and ensure delivery of legal documents to tax authorities.
• Collaborate with internal teams, local member firms, fiscal representatives and translators.
• Communicate with clients, participate in calls and meetings, and address legal questions.
• Take ownership of VAT registration and takeover transition processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Request and collect legal information from clients and prepare submissions to tax authorities.
• Maintain proper handover of client information to internal teams and improve processes and templates.

Required profile

• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Strong client communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to identify potential problems and issues.
• Precision, reliability and proactive attitude.
• Team player with a can‑do mindset.
