Customer Activation Specialist (Temporary Role)

About the role

Mars is hiring a Customer Activation Specialist for a 12-month contract in Budapest, Hungary. The role is responsible for deploying the activation strategy and tailoring activation plans together with the cluster One Demand team and local customers on the Hungarian market, driving cluster EBAs and local TMAs activations with a customer-centric approach.

Key responsibilities

• Close cooperation with local Demand and Sales teams to ensure seamless execution across key processes
• Manage the execution quality of national activities (EBAs) at customer level
• Own localized Customer Activations (TMAs) and customer-tailored selling stories
• Manage customer-specific temporary displays and POSM production using cluster and local toolkits
• Translate local customer needs into actionable requirements, aligned with One Demand during annual planning
• Own Activity Booster Meetings as a key input for the S&OP process and represent the CA function in other S&OP forums
• Manage the local Consumer Promo budget
• Represent the CE CA team in cross-market projects and drive cluster-level initiatives from a local perspective

Required profile

• 2+ years of relevant experience in trade, customer or shopper marketing or sales in FMCG or at key retailers
• Upper-intermediate English and native or fluent Hungarian
• Business acumen on cluster specifics, the FMCG market and the customer environment
• Project leadership, action planning, work-process optimization and stakeholder balancing
