Cybersecurity Support Analyst (Entry level)

About the role

Kickstart your career in cybersecurity while studying, either part‑time or full‑time. Join Adnovum’s Security Operations Support Team in Budapest and work on real‑world security alerts in a supportive, shift‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and process security alerts using iBOX and Elastic SIEM.
• Review, classify and document alerts according to predefined use cases.
• Create and maintain high‑quality tickets with clear documentation.
• Escalate incidents to Level 2 when required and follow established playbooks and data‑protection guidelines.

Required profile

• Entry‑level experience in IT support, service desk or related studies.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals or strong interest.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Budapest in a 24/7 shift system (minimum three 8‑hour shifts per week).
• Solid working proficiency in English (B2/C1); German is a plus.
• Proactive, reliable, detail‑oriented and able to stay calm under pressure.
