Development Engineer – Power Tool Development

About the role

As a Development Engineer in Power Tool Development you will own the engineering of power‑tool components from concept through to mass‑production launch. You will work in a multicultural team to create reliable, high‑performance tools for both professional and consumer markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead component engineering from concept, design, validation to maturity phase.
• Design parts and assemblies using Pro‑E (Creo) and support design engineers as needed.
• Define dimensioning concepts, perform tolerance calculations and limit sample testing.
• Set engineering targets, evaluate development steps and prioritize schedule, quality and cost.
• Contribute to quality target definition and support purchasing in supplier selection.
• Collaborate in cross‑functional project teams and prepare components for functional and A/B testing.
• Provide serial support for medium‑complex power tools.

Required profile

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in mechanical moving elements.
• Results‑driven, solution‑oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication, presentation skills and willingness to travel.
• Very good English proficiency.

• Pro‑E (Creo) for 3D modelling.
• Mechanical design of moving components.
• Tolerance calculation and dimensioning.
