Engagement Director, Budapest

About the role

FlowX.AI is seeking a senior Engagement Director to act as the executive face of the company for its most complex and high‑profile AI platform clients. You will own the full engagement lifecycle, from adoption and enablement to renewal, upsell and long‑term partnership growth.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary executive partner and trusted advisor to client sponsors and C‑suite stakeholders, leading governance processes such as steering committee meetings and quarterly roadmap reviews.
• Own overall program success across assigned engagements, developing integrated program plans, establishing governance frameworks, and driving executive decision‑making with clear recommendations and mitigation strategies.
• Lead adoption strategy, sponsor Centre of Excellence development and structured enablement programs to make platform usage self‑sustaining within the client organization.
• Manage the account’s renewal path, monitor health and licensed capacity, and identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities ahead of renewal milestones.
• Act as second‑tier escalation point for complex delivery matters, coordinating across internal and external stakeholders and escalating unresolved issues to the Head of Customer Success.

Required profile

• 10+ years leading large‑scale enterprise software implementations or strategic technology transformation programs, with 8+ years in a technology‑focused organization.
• Proven ability to establish credibility with executive and C‑suite stakeholders, ideally in banking or financial services.
• Strong sales and business development acumen, experienced in consultative selling and opportunity identification.
• Excellent stakeholder management and escalation leadership in complex, geographically distributed, matrixed environments.

Required skills

• Experience working directly with engineers and product teams on integrations, platform architecture, and implementation patterns.
