Engineering Manager – Lead Core Modeling Team (C++)

About the role

As Engineering Manager at Shapr3D you will lead the Core Modeling team that builds the foundational CAD engine powering our multi‑platform product. You will shape a critical growth phase for a company whose technology is used across industries that represent 16% of global GDP.

Key responsibilities

• Review and challenge engineering design documents, fostering collaborative problem‑solving.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing team delivering world‑class products.
• Contribute to strategic planning and execution as part of the Engineering Leadership Team.
• Act as a role model, championing leadership behaviours and a high‑achieving culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Software Engineering Manager or Development Lead for a C++ team.
• Deep understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, algorithms and software engineering fundamentals.
• Track record of building and scaling high‑throughput engineering teams.
• Hands‑on C++ development experience and a product‑first mindset.
• Experience with CAD is a strong advantage.
