Financial Advisor - Wealth Management (Cross-Border)

About the role

A client of Prestige IFA Jobs is looking for a client-focused Financial Advisor to join its partner firm in Budapest, Hungary. The role delivers tailored financial solutions to an international clientele, with an emphasis on cross-border planning, investment management and wealth preservation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver professional financial advice and bespoke wealth management solutions to clients
• Build and sustain long-term client relationships through high service standards
• Carry out thorough financial reviews and comprehensive fact-finding discussions
• Develop customised financial plans covering investments, pensions and protection needs
• Advise on cross-border financial planning and international investment opportunities
• Help clients with UK pension transfers, QROPS arrangements and expatriate tax strategy
• Maintain full compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks and industry standards

Required profile

• UK-recognised financial advisory qualifications (DipPFS, CISI Level 4, CFP or equivalent)
• At least 2-3 years of client-facing experience in wealth management or financial advisory; applicants should have at least three years' experience in wealth management or life insurance advisory with recognised investment qualifications (CISI, CII or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of investments, pensions and wealth management strategies
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• Experience with expatriate or cross-border clients preferred
