Graphics & Visualization Software Engineer Trainee

About the role

You will join Bosch's automotive software team to develop real‑time graphical visualisations for driver‑assist systems using the Godot game engine. The position focuses on creating 3D scenes, visualisation pipelines and GPU‑oriented code that runs on automotive hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Implement 3D scenes, camera views and visualisation pipelines that represent the vehicle and its surroundings.
• Develop GPU‑focused features, optimise performance and manage graphics resources on constrained automotive platforms.
• Debug, profile and optimise graphics code to ensure stability and real‑time rendering quality.
• Work with low‑level graphics APIs such as OpenGL and Vulkan.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate visualisations into ADAS functions.

Required profile

• Active university student in Hungary with at least one year remaining of study.
• Proficient in English.
• Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Strong interest in graphics, real‑time rendering and automotive technologies.

Required skills

• Programming in C++ (or C/C#).
• Practical experience with the Godot engine.
• Solid understanding of 3D graphics fundamentals (scene graphs, transformations, cameras, coordinate systems).
• Hands‑on experience with GPU‑oriented development and real‑time rendering.
• Ability to debug, profile and optimise graphics code.
• Knowledge of low‑level graphics APIs such as OpenGL and Vulkan.
• Scripting skills in Python are a plus.
