Graphics / Visualization Software Engineer Trainee

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Graphics / Visualization Software Engineer Trainee to join Bosch Group in Budapest. You will develop real-time 3D visualisations for driver-assist systems using the Godot game engine, contributing to the safety and comfort of future vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement 3D scenes, camera views and visualisation pipelines that depict the vehicle, its environment and ADAS functions.
• Develop GPU-oriented code, optimise performance and manage graphics resources on automotive hardware platforms.
• Debug, profile and fine-tune graphics pipelines to ensure stability and real-time rendering.
• Work with low-level graphics APIs such as OpenGL and Vulkan.

Required profile

• Active university student in Hungary with at least one year remaining of study.
• Fluent in English and able to commit a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Strong programming background in C++ (or C/C#) and familiarity with game engines, preferably Godot.

Required skills

• C++ / C# programming.
• Godot game engine.
• Fundamentals of 3D graphics, scene graphs, transformations and camera systems.
• GPU-oriented development and real-time rendering.
• Experience with OpenGL and/or Vulkan.
• Basic scripting skills in Python (optional).
