Hardware Maintenance Team Leader (Reliability Engineer)

About the role

Bosch is seeking a proactive Reliability Engineer / Technical Team Leader to ensure the reliable operation of laboratory equipment and machinery. The role combines hands‑on technical work with the coordination of a small technical team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and optimise preventive maintenance plans for laboratory machines and tools.
• Create and maintain maintenance schedules, balancing project needs and manufacturer requirements.
• Document all maintenance activities in the CMMS or similar tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic failures.
• Monitor KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, and machine utilisation.
• Manage critical spare‑part inventories and trigger re‑orders.
• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers and internal partners.
• Lead improvement projects to boost reliability and reduce downtime.
• Coordinate daily work of a 4‑member technical team, assign tasks and provide technical support.
