Hardware Validation Engineer

About the role

As a Hardware Validation Engineer at Bosch Group in Budapest, you will contribute to the development of cutting‑edge mobility solutions by ensuring the reliability and performance of electronic hardware. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to plan, execute, and document validation activities for automotive products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead validation projects from preparation (capacity calculation, test‑plan alignment, test‑system setup) through measurement execution and final reporting.
• Prepare, execute, supervise and report aging, electrical and mechanical tests.
• Identify root causes of failures using structured analysis and coordinate with HW designers, mechanical engineers and project managers.
• Manage daily validation topics, open points and represent validation matters in international teams.
• Support continuous improvement of validation processes and coordinate colleagues as needed.
• Operate laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, communication tools and frequency generators.
• Allocate roughly 80% of time to office/laboratory work with a home‑office option for documentation and firmware‑related tasks.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field.
• Proven experience in hardware lifetime validation activities.
• Strong analytical and systematic problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent English.
