HW Analysis Trainee

About the role

Join Bosch's XC-AC Camera Products team as an HW Analysis Trainee, supporting second‑level field return investigations for automotive camera systems. You will work alongside experienced hardware engineers to analyse returned products, identify root causes and perform validation in a lab environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support second‑level analysis of field‑return camera products.
• Perform electrical hardware analysis and failure debugging.
• Conduct hardware and software tests in laboratory settings.
• Assist in root‑cause analysis and technical problem‑solving.
• Develop and maintain analysis tools and scripts.
• Document investigation results and collaborate with international cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a BSc in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics or a comparable technical field.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving abilities and ability to work independently and in global teams.
• Good English and/or German language skills.
• Structured, systematic and self‑organized working style.

Required skills

• Programming in C/C#, LabVIEW, Python, Assembler or VBA.
• Knowledge of digital electronics and hardware measurement equipment.
• Familiarity with automotive communication networks (CAN, Ethernet, LIN, LVDS).
