IB Diploma Programme Coordinator – Budapest (Start Aug 2026)

About the role

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme Coordinator will lead the delivery of the DP at an international school in Budapest. Starting in August 2026, the coordinator will ensure the programme meets IB standards, supports teachers, and drives student achievement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the IB Diploma Programme, ensuring compliance with IBO regulations.
• Coordinate curriculum planning, assessment schedules, and internal reviews.
• Provide leadership and professional development for DP teachers.
• Manage student enrolment, progress tracking, and university application support.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning and resource allocation.

Required profile

• Teaching qualification (degree in Education or teaching certification), preferably with a History specialization.
• Master’s degree in Education or related field is preferred.
• Proven experience teaching within the IB framework.
• Strong organisational and project‑management abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
