About the role

The Maintenance Manager will lead the technical team responsible for the upkeep, repair and optimisation of elevator systems. This position involves planning maintenance activities, managing projects and ensuring high‑quality service for KONE’s customers in Budapest.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the maintenance team, coordinating daily tasks and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Plan, organise and optimise maintenance and repair programmes for elevator installations.
• Handle project‑management duties, including scheduling, budgeting and progress reporting.
• Maintain contact with clients, manage complaints and oversee warranty claims.
• Conduct fault analyses, investigations and inspections to improve system reliability.

Required profile

• Higher technical education or a certified elevator installer qualification.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in elevator installation or maintenance.
• Strong communication skills, customer‑oriented attitude and proven team‑leadership experience.
• Proactive, open personality with a valid B‑category driver’s licence and driving experience.

Required skills

• Elevator maintenance and repair expertise.
• Computer literacy (user‑level).
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
