Key Account Manager – Vaccines

About the role

The Key Account Manager – Vaccines will independently plan, develop and execute action plans for the designated region, ensuring the highest standards of quality and ethics. This role represents MSD to key opinion leaders, physicians and decision‑makers, driving adoption and growth of our vaccine portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized action plans for key opinion leaders and relevant decision‑makers.
• Visit physicians and healthcare professionals according to the plan to increase product usage.
• Organise round‑table discussions, local symposia, professional exhibitions and other targeted events.
• Accurately present product risk‑benefit profiles, contraindications, side‑effects and dosage information.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets, market‑share goals and other performance metrics.

Required profile

• University degree (life sciences preferred) with at least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
• Strong communication, sales and teamwork abilities with a proactive approach.
• Basic IT proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, sales tools).
• Demonstrated ability to plan and manage accounts, meet compliance standards and report market information transparently.
