Legal Counsel – In-house (Budapest)

About the role

As an In‑house Legal Counsel you will join Bosch’s general legal team in Hungary, supporting the company’s operations with practical, business‑focused legal advice. You will act as a trusted partner to business units, helping them navigate commercial, corporate and regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal advice on commercial, corporate and operational issues.
• Identify, assess and manage legal risks associated with business decisions and transactions.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements and other legal documents.
• Offer expertise in corporate law, liability and damages law, and intellectual property law.
• Prepare legal submissions and represent the company before courts and public authorities.
• Coordinate with external counsel and support corporate governance matters.
• Participate in the development and review of internal policies, regulations and guidelines.
• Monitor legislative developments and ensure compliance across the organization.

Required profile

• University degree in Law from a Hungarian university.
• Successful Hungarian Bar Examination (jogi szakvizsga).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm or in‑house setting.
• Strong knowledge of corporate, liability, damages and intellectual property law.
• Excellent analytical, drafting and problem‑solving abilities.
• High ethical standards, integrity and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills, especially with senior management.

Required skills

• Fluent Hungarian and English (written and spoken).
