About the role

Join Kyndryl’s global team to lead the modernization of mainframe applications, shaping strategy and architecture for critical enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Define, assess, and prioritize modernization roadmaps, balancing cost and risk.
• Design innovative software frameworks, system interfaces, and application prototypes.
• Provide technical leadership, conduct design and code reviews, and enforce enterprise‑wide standards.
• Create and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, including design processes and testing guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven architectural experience on large‑scale change and transformation projects.
• Deep knowledge of hardware, software, and connectivity between platforms.

Required skills

• z/OS and IBM software products.
• Mainframe environments and modernization projects (modernize on, integrate with, move off).
• Cloud architecture concepts.
• Open Group Master Certified Architect (or equivalent) – preferred.
