Mechanical Project Leader – Sensors ECU Development

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Project Leader to drive the mechanical development of sensor ECUs at our Budapest site. In this role you will coordinate cross‑functional teams, ensure project targets are met and act as the main technical liaison with customers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical development activities for XC and PS sensor ECUs.
• Lead international, interdisciplinary project teams covering design, purchasing, production, layout and series preparation.
• Track and control quality, resource, capacity, cost and schedule targets.
• Introduce improvement measures based on customer requirements and document progress according to quality directives.
• Report project status regularly to internal customers and management.
• Collaborate closely with customers, development teams and plant on technical topics at an international level.

Required profile

• University degree in electrical, mechanical or mechatronic engineering, technical management or a comparable field.
• Minimum three years of experience in technical project management.
• Strong coordination and communication skills, confident presentation style.
• Willingness to travel for business needs.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of aluminum die casting.
• Experience with plastics processing.
• Understanding of sheet‑metal design.
• Familiarity with printed circuit board (PCB) technology.
