Medior/Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Hungary)

About the role

Are you curious about how infrastructure works under the hood? Bitrise is looking for a Medior/Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, scale and maintain a unique hybrid environment that spans physical servers, private clouds, and multiple public clouds. You will join the Build Infrastructure team that runs one of the world’s largest Mac and Linux CI/CD platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, improve and scale data‑center and cloud infrastructure to meet growing demand.
• Manage cross‑platform (macOS and Linux) build and network infrastructure.
• Automate workflows to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Monitor performance proactively, handle incidents and conduct post‑mortems.
• Develop systematic troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
• Lead projects that drive cross‑team innovation and meet targets.

Required profile

• 3+ years (Medior) or 5+ years (Senior) experience as an Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of L2‑L7 networking, TCP/IP, BGP and data‑center leaf‑and‑spine fabrics.
• Hands‑on experience with DNS, VPNs, firewalls, IPSec, routing, DHCP and cloud networking.
• Proficient in Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Experience defining and deploying infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an international agile team.
