PCB Wave Solder Machine Operator

About the role

Jabil is looking for a machine operator to set up and run an automatic wave solder machine that connects multiple points on printed circuit boards. The work takes place at the Tiszaujvaros site.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the foam fluxer, using a hydrometer to check specific gravity and resin ratio.
• Add or refill bar solder, flux and alcohol in the machine as needed.
• Clean and adjust the flux density controller (FDC) and fluxer.
• Monitor boards for soldering defects and check that components sit properly and are soldered correctly.
• Dross the solder pot to remove impurities and carry out daily maintenance.
• Drain the flux and clean the machine on a weekly basis.
• Maintain inventory of chemicals and solder used.
• Keep the assigned area clean and organised.
• Follow all safety and health rules and the company security policy.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
