Product Cost Manager

About the role

As a Product Cost Manager at Bosch, you will lead cost planning and optimisation for electrification products, collaborating closely with purchasing, production, controlling, and sales teams to achieve cost targets and drive sustainable value.

Key responsibilities

• Set Planned Product Costs (PPC) in alignment with purchasing, production and controlling.
• Manage BIG5 and volume‑drop claims together with sales, adjusting sales prices as needed.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to generate cost‑down measures and ensure early implementation.
• Conduct supplier workshops for MAT A‑Components and VALe, supporting greenfield target achievement.
• Support project calculations (ProRe, CFx, BP) and consolidate risk/opportunity analyses.
• Report PPC status to RPP Jour‑Fixe, Product Cost Steering Committee and Path to Profit BV Review.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product cost management or a comparable role.
• Strong analytical mindset with a structured, result‑oriented approach.
• Proven ability to take ownership, lead initiatives and influence stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial thinking and proactive, solution‑focused attitude.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); German is a plus.
