Product Owner for Business Partners Data (Fixed-term)

About the role

Roche is seeking a Product Owner to lead the Business Partners Data domain within the ASPIRE transformation program. This fixed‑term role (until 31/12/2029) focuses on harmonising, simplifying and automating master data processes to support rapid delivery of patient‑centric solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the product roadmap and prioritise the team backlog in alignment with the ART backlog, allocating Agile team capacity.
• Prioritise issue resolution, coordinate User Stories, and ensure they meet the Definition of Done and Definition of Ready.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Business SMEs, Data owners and operational teams on end‑to‑end data governance and master‑data defect reduction.
• Ensure training, consistency and accuracy of master data across systems, supporting SAP‑MDG and related workflows.
• Support vision and strategy for Master Data Governance, deployments, testing and creation of master data for other teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• 5+ years of master data management experience in Business Partners Data.
• 3+ years of experience with enterprise applications such as SAP‑MDG.
• Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA and other data‑privacy regulations.
• Proven ability to deliver in a matrixed, global organisation with strong attention to detail.
