Sample Target Coster

About the role

As a Sample Target Coster at Bosch, you will lead cost optimisation and process standardisation initiatives across the sample production and delivery value‑stream. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to improve efficiency, transparency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the end‑to‑end sample value stream, defining standards, processes, tools and best practices.
• Drive process harmonisation, governance, rollout activities and stakeholder training.
• Coordinate sample volume planning and consolidate demand forecasts with business, sales and project stakeholders.
• Monitor and analyse KPIs related to cost, scrap, quality, delivery performance and production volumes.
• Initiate escalations and corrective actions for performance deviations affecting capacity, quality, delivery or costs.
• Develop and implement cost‑improvement projects aligned with profitability and operational‑efficiency targets.
• Define and manage cost targets for sample‑related projects and track progress.
• Collaborate with purchasing, engineering, manufacturing and business teams to identify cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Provide transparent performance reporting and data‑driven insights for management decision‑making.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in a comparable role.
• Strong analytical mindset with a structured, result‑oriented approach.
• Proven ability to take ownership, demonstrate leadership and drive initiatives independently.
• Entrepreneurial thinking with a proactive, solution‑focused attitude.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); German is an advantage.
