Senior Fullstack (Java) Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack (Java) Developer to lead the design and development of high‑performance web applications that support Bosch’s digitalisation strategy in Budapest.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, design and implement scalable, secure full‑stack solutions using Java (Spring Boot) on the backend and React or Angular on the frontend.
• Develop internal digital tools that automate processes and incorporate advanced AI use cases.
• Mentor medior and junior developers, conduct code reviews and define coding standards.
• Ensure continuous delivery in containerised environments with Docker and Kubernetes on cloud platforms such as Azure.
• Drive adoption of AI‑enhanced development tools to boost productivity.
• Optionally contribute to UX design for intuitive user interfaces.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in web application development.
• Strong analytical and systems thinking, good communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Experience working in agile environments.
