Senior Hardware Product Manager – IoT Wireless

About the role

Silicon Labs is looking for a Senior Hardware Product Manager to lead the definition and development of IoT wireless SoCs from concept through customer alpha. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to shape the product roadmap and bring innovative connectivity solutions to market.

Key responsibilities

• Define SoC requirements, features, specifications and system KPIs for CPU, co‑processors, accelerators, power management, peripherals, security, radio and package.
• Map market application needs to product use cases, including block diagrams, compute, peripheral and protocol stack requirements for Wi‑Fi, Matter, Thread, ZigBee, Bluetooth, Sidewalk, Wi‑SUN and proprietary protocols.
• Collaborate with IC design, test, software, marketing, sales and operations to develop long‑term innovation ideas and silicon definitions.
• Drive the product development process from concept to definition and pitch promising ideas to executive leadership.
• Conduct competitive analysis and die‑level tear‑downs to inform design and specification decisions.

Required profile

• BSEE/BSCS (or equivalent) with at least 6 years of semiconductor product management or IoT experience.
• Hands‑on experience in IC front‑end, architecture, verification or embedded systems.
• Strong knowledge of power‑performance‑area (PPA) estimation, die‑size estimation and process‑node fundamentals.
• Understanding of wireless modem and RF design for Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, 802.15.4 and other low‑power standards.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional engineering teams and present to executive management.
