Senior Payroll Specialist - EMEA

About the role

The Senior Payroll Specialist – EMEA supports accurate and timely payroll processing for assigned entities across the region, coordinating inputs, validating changes, and partnering with internal stakeholders and an external payroll provider.

Key responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on time, following the monthly calendar and local requirements.
• Collect, review, and input monthly payroll changes such as overtime, bonuses, allowances, and absences.
• Prepare, validate, and submit payroll input files to the external provider and follow up on queries.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and local stakeholders to resolve payroll queries, support audits, and ensure approvals.
• Maintain employee lifecycle data and apply payroll deductions and benefits‑in‑kind in line with legislation.
• Perform payroll checks and controls, investigate variances, and ensure issues are resolved before sign‑off.
• Support payroll process improvements and participate in related projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll administration or processing.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage monthly deadlines.
• Fluent written and spoken English for communication with employees and partners.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and proactive approach to resolving discrepancies.

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivots, basic formulas).
