Shopify Developer

About the role

As a Shopify Developer you’ll build new e‑commerce applications for global brands using the latest technologies in the Shopify and React ecosystems. The role offers a hybrid working model, allowing you to work both from home and from DEPT offices.

Key responsibilities

• Build, launch and maintain high‑quality Shopify and Shopify Plus storefronts using Liquid and modern JavaScript.
• Develop reusable Online Store 2.0 sections, theme components and custom storefront functionality.
• Integrate Shopify with third‑party applications, APIs and enterprise systems.
• Write automated tests, diagnose production issues and monitor storefront performance.
• Participate in estimation, technical discovery, code reviews and client‑facing solution discussions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Shopify development, preferably with Shopify Plus.
• Strong understanding of Shopify 2.0, theme development and Storefront API.
• Proficiency in Liquid templating and JavaScript (React).
• Experience integrating and debugging third‑party Shopify apps and APIs.
• Solid testing and debugging skills for responsive layouts across devices.
