Software Developer – Driver Assistance & Automated Driving

About the role

Join Bosch Budapest to develop advanced driver assistance and automated driving software that runs in real vehicles worldwide. You will work on high‑complexity HW/SW systems, turning mathematical models into efficient embedded implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop state‑of‑the‑art perception and driver assistance functionalities.
• Prototype algorithms in Python or MATLAB and implement production‑grade C++ code.
• Design object‑oriented, embedded real‑time solutions and create automated tests (Google Test, Python testing).
• Validate solutions in SIL, HIL, and real test vehicles, debugging complex C++ code and system behaviour.
• Contribute to sensor fusion, environmental modelling, and tracking algorithms.
• Analyse field‑test results, performance metrics and support customers and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Machine Learning or a related discipline.
• Strong mathematical foundations (linear algebra, trigonometry, discrete math).
• Hands‑on experience with C/C++, Python and/or MATLAB.
• Analytical mindset with a structured way of working.
• Fluent English for daily communication with international teams.
• Strong interest in automated driving technologies and willingness to travel occasionally.

Required skills

• Version control and collaboration tools (Git, Jira, Azure).
• Embedded real‑time development and object‑oriented design.
