Software Developer Intern

About the role

PTC is looking for a Software Developer Intern to support the development and testing of software applications. The internship offers hands‑on experience across front‑end, back‑end, full‑stack, or test‑automation tracks within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in writing clean, maintainable code for front‑end or back‑end components.
• Help build and test new features under guidance from senior developers and QA engineers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and platform engineers to understand project workflows.

Required profile

• Active student at a Hungarian university, available at least 20 hours/week.
• Ability to work onsite in Budapest and communicate in Hungarian and English.
• Basic programming knowledge (Java preferred) and familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Willingness to learn frameworks, testing tools, version control, and cloud/container technologies.
