Transport Coordinator (Ocean Freight)

About the role

The Transport Coordinator (Ocean Freight) will act as the single point of contact for nominated logistics service providers and internal stakeholders on import and export matters. You will ensure smooth day‑to‑day logistics operations, from scheduling shipments to handling deviations, while maintaining compliance with customs regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison with LSPs and internal teams for import and export inquiries.
• Manage transport scheduling, shipment tracking, time‑window coordination and deviation handling.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documentation and book transports with carriers and freight forwarders.
• Align daily with the transport management centre for inbound and outbound flows.
• Ensure compliance with international customs regulations and coordinate import/export paperwork.
• Collect data for KPI reporting and participate in process‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• BSc in economics, business administration, finance or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in supply‑chain logistics, transport management or related areas.
• Excellent communication, organization and proactive mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow structured, precise processes.
• Active English and Hungarian language proficiency (written and oral).
