Workshop Electrical Technician

About the role

As a Workshop Electrical Technician at Bosch in Budapest, you will support the Application Center by modifying electronic equipment, building mechanical assemblies, and ensuring CE compliance for machines and equipment. You will work closely with product development teams and operate advanced 3D‑printing technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Modify electronic components and equipment according to CE specifications and technical instructions.
• Assist in the preparation and conversion of mechanical and electrical machines and equipment.
• Serve as the primary electrical contact for product development within the workshop.
• Document all performed tasks in a traceable, consistent manner.
• Operate and maintain 3D printers (SLS, FDM, PolyJet) and perform related troubleshooting.
• Assemble wiring harnesses based on technical drawings.
• Use base mechanical tools and equipment, such as milling machines.

Required profile

• Secondary technical school degree or technician qualification in electrical specialization.
• Proficiency in reading schematic diagrams and electrical drawings.
• Communicative level of English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to deliver efficient, precise work in line with established regulations.
• Team player who can also work independently and is eager to learn new technologies.

Required skills

• Interpretation of schematic diagrams and electrical drawings.
• Operation of 3D printers (SLS, FDM, PolyJet).
• Wiring harness assembly.
• Use of milling and other metal‑working machines.
• Basic measurement technology.
