Process Developer for Laser Welding Processes

About the role

We are looking for a Process Developer to lead the design and optimisation of laser welding processes at our power‑tool manufacturing site in Miskolc. You will work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective manufacturing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise laser welding manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate development projects, balancing cost, quality, deadlines and functionality.
• Define and align technical requirements for welding equipment and related manufacturing tools.
• Provide technical consulting for welding‑compatible interface design within simultaneous engineering projects.
• Transfer knowledge and conduct training sessions for internal teams.

Required profile

• Experience in welding technology, preferably laser welding.
• Broad knowledge of materials science.
• Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, materials science or a comparable field.
