Software Developer in Computer-Aided Design

About the role

The Mobility Electronics division develops a CAD tool used to design micro‑structures of MEMS sensors. You will work in an international, multidisciplinary environment collaborating with R&D and global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a CAD tool with a Java kernel and MATLAB interface based on design engineer requirements.
• Implement algorithms for geometrical operations to enable innovative sensor designs.
• Optimize the tool for efficiency and usability, incorporating user experience considerations.
• Ensure reliability through rigorous testing and automate design workflows to reduce development time.
• Support users in applying the tool and apply state‑of‑the‑art AI to enhance design workflows.

Required profile

• Degree in software engineering, computer science, electrical/mechanical engineering, mathematics, physics or related field with software development experience.
• Professional English communication skills, both oral and written.
• Problem‑solving mindset, growth orientation, collaborative spirit, initiative and resilience.

Required skills

• Java (desktop application development).
• MATLAB.
• Artificial Intelligence techniques.
• Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) and numerical algorithms.
• Finite‑element analysis for mechanical simulations (advantage).
• Knowledge of micro‑electro‑mechanical systems (MEMS) (advantage).
