Senior Data Engineer

About the role

At Bosch, we develop micro‑mechanical sensors for automotive, consumer and aerospace applications. Within the Mobility Electronics division you will join a team that delivers data‑analytics and machine‑learning solutions to improve yield and engineering efficiency for MEMS sensor development and production. The role is based in a dynamic, international environment working closely with manufacturing and lab measurement teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design solutions for data ingestion from manufacturing and development sources.
• Create and implement ETL pipeline architectures for MEMS sensor data.
• Lead a team of data engineers and mentor junior members.
• Review code, promote clean‑code principles and agile ways of working.
• Advise management on data‑strategy decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• More than 5 years of experience as a software developer or data engineer.
• Senior‑level expertise in Python, Databricks and PySpark.
• Knowledge of Hadoop.
• Experience with cloud technologies, especially Microsoft Azure.
