About the role

As Category Manager – Alcohol & Wine at Rohlik in Budapest, you will own the commercial performance of the alcohol and wine portfolio, shaping assortment, pricing and promotional strategies while building high‑impact partnerships with top beverage suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Own category performance by delivering sales, margin and profitability targets.
• Lead supplier negotiations, annual reviews and Joint Business Planning to secure favorable terms.
• Optimize assortment and pricing through continuous evaluation of product mix and promotions.
• Drive end‑to‑end commercial evaluation and market launch of new products and seasonal activations.
• Monitor market trends and internal data to translate insights into concrete commercial actions.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in Category Management, Buying or Commercial Purchasing within the Alcohol & Wine market.
• Proven track record of negotiating with major FMCG or beverage suppliers.
• Strong commercial acumen in margin optimization, pricing tactics and product lifecycle management.
• Analytical mindset capable of interpreting category data and making revenue‑driving decisions.
• Advanced English and fluent Hungarian with strong stakeholder influence.
