Romanian speaking VAT Analyst

About the role

Join KPMG Global Services Hungary in Budapest as a Romanian‑speaking VAT Analyst. You will work with multinational Fortune‑500 clients, helping them navigate complex VAT regulations while collaborating with a multicultural team.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in internal trainings to master VAT concepts and deliver excellent client service.
• Analyze complex VAT data and prepare indirect‑tax reports based on country‑specific guidance.
• Proactively anticipate client needs and respond to requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain contact with foreign tax authorities and support language‑specific queries.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and contribute to improvement projects.

Required profile

• University studies or diploma.
• Strong written and spoken English and Romanian.
• Confidence with numbers and ability to handle large data sets.
• Problem‑identification and solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork orientation.
• Ability to work independently with a client‑focused mindset.
