Business Process Analyst

About the role

The Business Process Analyst ensures that processes are in place to promote and facilitate continuous improvement and automation for a specified project across the organization. The role creates and directs process improvement efforts and encourages decision makers to allocate resources to improvement and automation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Translate global business strategy into actions for departments and employees, and align the organization around implementation plans
• Test new solutions and proposals to leverage the maturity of service delivery
• Develop and manage Excel-based automation solutions using VBA, keeping existing tools accurate, efficient and maintained
• Partner with management and associates to plan and run projects that improve quality, reduce costs, increase productivity and shorten cycle times
• Lead project teams, remove barriers to improvement and liaise with finance to track the financial benefit of projects
• Manage virtual project teams, prepare recommendations for risk mitigation and contingency planning, and arrange materials for steering group meetings
• Obtain sign-off from directors, managers, team members and stakeholders, support the business owner in meeting project objectives, and ensure change is sustainable

Required profile

• BSc or MSc degree, preferably in business or finance
• Proven record of performance and trusted professional credibility
• Fluent English, spoken and written; one EU language (German, French, Italian or Spanish) is a clear advantage
• Ability to travel according to project requirements

Required skills

• Creating, maintaining and troubleshooting Excel macros with VBA
• MS Office packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
• Understanding of RPA software capabilities for automation
• Lean methodology and change management and facilitation skills (advantages)
• Project management qualification or experience is an advantage but not necessary
