Clinical Trial Assistant (CTA) – Experienced

About the role

IQVIA's Clinical Functional Service Partnership (CFSP) offers embedded members of pharmaceutical or biotechnology teams the variety of sponsor-level exposure and the stability of a global career. This Clinical Trial Assistant position in Budapest involves hands-on study operations, working alongside experienced CRAs and Project Managers, with a path toward future clinical research roles.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update Trial Master Files (TMF) and study documentation
• Support document preparation, filing, tracking and archiving
• Review study files for completeness and compliance
• Coordinate clinical trial supplies and tracking records
• Assist with CRF tracking, study queries and data workflows
• Act as a key contact for project communications and documentation
• Guide and mentor other Clinical Trial Assistants, supporting onboarding, training and knowledge sharing
• Serve as a subject matter expert for clinical trial processes, possibly leading CTA study teams and contributing to recruitment
• Support departmental quality and process improvement initiatives

Required profile

• Passion for clinical research and healthcare
• Science degree preferred
• 1+ years of clinical trials support experience
• Fluency in both English and Hungarian, available to work from Hungary
