About the role

The Energy and Project Engineer will ensure continuous operation of facilities, develop building and technology systems, and monitor energy performance for Coloplast’s site in Nyírbátor. The role combines technical project management, energy‑efficiency initiatives and coordination with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain continuous operation of the facility and improve building and technological systems while monitoring energy usage.
• Design, coordinate and implement energy‑related and technical projects.
• Prepare energy‑efficiency improvements, conduct energy audits and calculate savings.
• Coordinate building maintenance and operational tasks.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and cross‑functional departments to align projects.
• Support and lead sustainability and green‑energy projects.
• Keep operational documentation up‑to‑date and ensure compliance with legal and EHS requirements.

Required profile

• University degree in engineering with a focus on energy.
• Fluent communication in English.
• Independent, responsible work style with strong problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Ability to understand complex technical and operational processes.
• Project‑ and results‑oriented mindset.
• Willingness to cooperate with various disciplines and external partners.
